Owl’s Brew, started in 2013 by Jennie Ripps and Maria Littlefield, was initially focused on cocktail mixers using a variety of teas and other all natural ingredients like agave, citrus and caramel. The idea was to make a high-quality tea-based mixer that is easy to use in the home, and now they have more than a handful on the shelves for all different tastes. Since then, they’ve decided to dip their toes in the beer market with a line of tea-infused radlers. These double-brewed beverages are filled with complex, robust flavors you won’t find anywhere else.

The four in this lineup are as follows: That’s My Jam, an amber ale with darjeeling hibiscus tea and strawberry (3.8% ABV); The Blondie, wheat beer combined with black tea, lemon and lime (3.8% ABV); and Short and Stout, a blend of chocolate stout, masala chai, pineapple and coconut water (5% ABV). Wicked Watermelon, which is wheat beer, white tea, watermelon and pomegranate, will be available seasonally (3.8% ABV).

So next time you’re looking for something a little different to drink, give these unique radlers a try and enjoy the magic of their double-brew.
